• Powerwashing the entire building to ensure a clean surface before painting. TSP or similar products may be required in some situations to remove oxidized and/or chalking paint.
• Scraping and Sanding failing and chipping paint. This step removes old paint and fans out edges where old paint will remain on the surface.
• Priming all bare areas with premium quality primer ensures the new paint will properly adhere to the surface.
• Caulking gaps, cracks and nail holes ensures the exterior of your property is properly sealed from the elements. Valiant Painting uses 55 year rated urathanized acrylic elastomeric caulking.
• Masking off areas that will not be painted to protect from drips and/or overspray.
• Placing drop cloths on landscaping, patios and other areas for additional protection.
